About The Rally
Ramshackle Valencia is the epitome of absurdity. The willing participants must place their trust in a few quid's worth of scrap metal and set off on an epic banger rally covering 1450 miles. Teams compete in what has become the craziest banger rally on the European circuit before joining in with 40,000 others lobbing squashed tomato's at each other. Sounds fairly tame from a Ramshackle perspective! The rally lasts for four days as teams compete in the daily challenges to score points and simply put the team with the most points at the end of it all is the winner. SupportLike all good Ramshackle adventures, this rally is completely unsupported. The responsibility for looking after you lies only with you! There is no plan B until it happens so let your hair down, throw caution to the wind and see where you end up at the end of each crazy day. La Tomatina The La Tomatina festival takes place on the 26th August 2009 in Bunol, just outside Valencia. Teams who are staying on to take part in the tomato lobbing should not expect to be back in Valencia any earlier than 4pm on the day of the festival. Your rally bible will contain information about how to make the most your day.
